I’ve never heard of Tokelau — a group of Pacific islands called — up until an hour ago, but now I have a Tokelau top-level domain: The domains are free for registration, with a basic redirect and some restrictions — or, for less than $10US per year, can be purchased for full control. I find it curious that these tiny atolls, with probably no normal access to the net and with a population of 1500, have top level domains to sell. Welcome to the wired world.

I haven’t seen The Ring yet, but the “Cursed Video” is one of the slickest short little videos I’ve seen in a while. From what I’ve heard, it’s in no way an indication of what the actual movie is like… too bad.
