Mississauga Computer Books, a fine local source of, well, computer books, is closing shop. Sadly. On the up side, this means that there’s a clearance sale. Now, a 30%+ saving might seem like a big deal, but when you go to the counter with an armful of computer books, it feels miniscule. The exorbitant price of said books virtually negates all but the most unprofitable of discounts. I still can’t understand why these blocks of paper, with no colour, no photographs, no glossy paper, and no CD inserts cost more than multi-million dollar video games. I guess volume would be the reason, but still — $72 for the camel book?
IGN has a feature that lets you track your wishlist and show-off your game collection: so I did. That’s a lotta money.
