There’s a futureshop commercial that’s been regularly shown on tv for months now. It’s the standard fare: families watching movies on their big-screen tvs, cool people listening to cool music on their cool stereos, and kids playing their high-tech games. They’re all highly ecstatic and excited, as one would expect. I never gave the commercial much attention, until I found two discrepancies.

Firstly, in one of the scenes, you see two younger boys playing Super Mario Sunshine, and they’re really into it, shaking and moving their controllers around as if it would make a difference [PVP]. Then I realized: why are there two people playing this single player game at the same time? Then I noticed something even more subtle: why are they using XBox controllers?? Stupid stupid stupid. Futureshop–.
