May Day

I was going to write something — on two occassions — but once again I was denied by Rogers. The connection went down on Monday night. In a few sporadic moments of connectivity, I found that there was scheduled maintenance that night. Fine, I’ll accept that. The problem is: the connection continued to be as sporadic as Hale-Bopp through to today. That is definitely not fine.

Now that I’m finally back online again, I can’t remember what I was going to write. I’m sure that one part involved my pointing at games.slashdot.org and complaining about the extra-Slashdot-like ugliness. Really ugly. The other part probably consisted of my ever-present ravings for Babylon 5, as Season 2 has been recently released. We’ll never know for sure, though, as it’s lost to that internetless ether.

I fear that I might have reached my peak in Ikaruga. I can semi-consistently hit five million points in the challenge mode, but anything over five-and-a-half million seems out of reach. Maybe I need to give it a few more hours.
